Biography

Mikuláš (Bartoš) Čuchna has Czech Roots.

He Mikuláš Bartoš-Lapič-Čuchna was born in Kolence about 1630, first information about him in seigniorial registers of Kolence^[1] and of Novosedly nad Nežárkou^[2] were in 1661. He was the son of Marek Bartoš-Jakoubek and his wife Alžběta - rustics in Kolence in Bartoš's farm^[3][4] from 1631. He had siblings:

• Voršila (*1632 - she married to Zablatí),
  
• Anna (*1639 - she married to Novosedly),
  
• Matěj (*1646).
  

His father Marek Bartoš-Jakoubek died about 1665 and his mother Alžběta died about 1665 too^[5] (family of Šťastný continued in Bartoš's farm in Kolence).

He Mikuláš Bartoš married Anna (widow after Vaclav Lapič^[6], brother of Jan Lapič - rustics in Novosedly nad Nežárkou in Lapič's farm^[7] from 1649, Anna and Vaclav had children: Anna, Solomena, Marie) about 1654. They continued in Lapič's farm and he took name Lapič. They had children:

• Alžběta (*1658),
  
• Jan (*1659 - he married Marie Bohová from Stříbřec in 1684, they continued in Novosedly in Čuchna's farm from 1685 and they had children: ..., Vít, ...).
  

His first wife Anna was not presented in seigniorial register from 1661 to 1668 - she likely died and he Mikuláš Bartoš-Lapič married second time Anna (the daughter of Vít Fanta and his wife Alena - rustics in Kolence in Fanta's farm^[8] from 1642) about 1663. About 1669^[9] they moved from Lapič's farm in Čuchna's farm^[10] in Novosedly too (they changed the farm with Bartoloměj Čuchna). They lived there (they took name Čuchna), for example in 1671^[11] or in 1685^[12]. They had children:

• Kateřina (*1664 - she married Jakub Kadlec from Bystřice about 1688, he took name Čuchna, they lived in Leština and they had children: Vavřinec, ...),
  
• Dorota (*1668 - she married Ondřej from Stříbřec in 1688^[13]),
  
• Marie (*1669^[14]),
  
• Jakub (*1675^[15] - he married Alžběta Janová from Kolence in 1703^[16], they lived likely in Jílovice),
  
• Matěj (*1677),
  
• Pavel (*1680 - he married Rozina from Mláka in 1714^[17]).
  

They moved from Novosedly to Leština (solitude at bridge over the river-canal "Nová řeka" 49°1'53.058"N, 14°51'29.662"E) about 1685^[18]. They lived there, for example in 1688^[19].

His wife (Anna Čuchnová born Fantová in Kolence) died about 1691^[20].
He Mikuláš Bartoš-Lapič-Čuchna died about 1706^[21].
