Robert Bass married Martha Unknown about 1806 as their first child was born in 1807. No marriage record has been discovered. The marriage was probably in the Mississippi Territory several years before statehood. On 5 November, Robert Bass is listed on the 1810 Mississippi Territorial census. [1]
Robert Bass died in 1919 intestate. There is a probate guardian record for three of his orphaned children, Robert, Martha and Sarah Bass, all minors in Amite County, Mississippi. [2]
