Nathan served for New Hamoshire as an officer (a Major), during the American Revolutionary War, under the command of Colonel Thomas Stickney. [1]

Deacon Ebenezer Bachelder, son of Nathaniel. Farmer. Lived at East Kingston. He and Dorothy were admitted to the Kingston Church Jul 18, 1736, he was an original member of the East Kingston church Jul 17, 1739, and was elected deacon in Mar 1, 1759. He married at East Kingston Feb 1, 1732/3, Dorothy Boynton, dau. of William Boynton and Joanna (Stevens), who was b. in Newbury, Mass. Dec 12, 1715, and was living at date of her husband's will. [5]
Will of Ebenezer of East Kingston, yeoman, Jan 27, 1780 - Dec 15, 1784, mentions wife Dorothy, sons Nathan, Nathaniel, Ebenezer, josiah; dau. Betty wife of Dr. Wm. Smith; dau. Dorothy Bachelder; dau. Ann, wife of David Bonton; dau. joanna Bachelder. [6]
