Mary "Molly" Beach was born F, b. circa 1744[1] referenced as the daughter of Joseph Beach in his Will 17 Aug 1769[2]. She was the daughter of Joseph Beach (c 1710- bef 26 May 1772) and Mary (c 1728)[3].

She married John Mears (b. c 1730, d. Jan 1785 ) in circa 1762, son of John Mears and Sabrah[4] Armey Trader in Accomack Co, VA and resided "in the Fair Oaks section of the county on land inherited from his grandfather Richard Armitrader. This homestead was in the same neighborhood as Cottrels Ridge, the home of her father, Joseph Beach"[5].
They had at least twelve children described by Ames[4] and reported by GHOTES[3]:

Her husband left (1789) a Will on 17 December 1784[6] referencing wife, Mary who gave an account as guardian of Betsey, Patience, Adah, Margaret, James and William Mears for their expenses for 1788 and 1789[7].
