Biography

Added 2 Feb 2018 after adoption by Francis E. Berkey (Berkey-120) while cleaning up the profile of Susanna Mast and her 3 husbnds etc as part of my attempt to fill out the family of Henry Hochstetler and his 19 children I find myself aligning here with Gingerich and Kreider. Moses is AKA BC175+ and was married 1st to Barbara Keim AKA KM1h and 2nd to Susanna Mast AKA MS3658 as her 3rd husband. FEB

This is as close as our branch comes but in Line 3 appears his younger sister, Catherine Winchester Berkey who married Joseph Hochstetler who is DJH-4263. This was actually a mistake on the part of the informant named Wade Miller whose mother was a Berkey and since Catherine was in the household of Jacob Berkey he thought she was his daughter but she was not. Many of my relatives are in Descendants of Jacob Hochstetler first published in 1912 by Rev. Harvey Hostetler, D.D. long before personal computers.
