Zachariah Beall was born July 17, 1742 in the state of Maryland and died June 5, 1817 and was buried in the Mount Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, near Statesville, northeastern Iredell County near Harmony. He served in the American Revolution as a Private in the state of Maryland Troops. Zachary was born in 1742.

He married by 22 Mar 1773 Rebecca Tyson, b. ca 1752; d. ca 1823. [2]
On 18 Mar 1773 Zachariah Beall of Frederick Co., Md. to James Beall of James of same county for 100 pounds current money conveys 200 acres of land in Frederick Co. tract known as West's Beginning. Rebecca, wife of Zachariah, waived dower. [3]
