Biography

Thomas was the son of John Beard and Jennett Wallace born in January 1776 in Augusta County, Virginia.[1]

He married Mary Skiles on August 22, 1805, in Virginia. They had one child during their marriage.[2][3][4]

Thomas died on December 22, 1853, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, having lived a long life of 77 years.[5][6]

Research Notes

Thomas' father is Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Ancestor #A008076. Applications for membership in the Society of the DAR have been made by the descendants of Thomas Beard, who married Mary "Polly" Skyles aka Skiles [7]
