His will is dated 8 November 1856 and proved in Danbury. He mentions his wife Rebecka, his three sons, Josiah Beardsley, John Beardsley, and Nathan Beardsley, his deceased father John Beardsley, his mother Deborah, and his brother John Beardsley.[3]
His inventory was completed on 22 November 1756 in New Fairfield and recorded in Danbury.[4]
