When he married Maria White, he was a resident of Orange Co., VA.
He is listed in the 1820 Census for Orange Co. VA with other family members; however, the information is very difficult to read.
Mary (Sanford) Beazley's pension application also lists the name as Beazeley.
Sanford Beasley's marriage notice and a printout for the marriage of daughter Fannie Ann spells the name with an "s" rather than a "z". Only the last name of Fannie Ann Beasley's father is listed in the marriage information, so he probably is deceased by 1866.
In a description of a 1851 court case entitled Beazley & C. vs. White & C., Sandford Beazley is described as having died intestate on Nov 27, 1826 in Orange Co., VA leaving his widow, Maria, and their children, i.e. Massina Beazley, Maria Louisa Beazley, Frances Ann Beazley, Eliza, wife of William Frazier, Mary Jane, wife of John N.
