I have just spotted the Maud Beaumont name. A little earlier than your reference, but our Gillaume de Cailly married Maude Beaumont about 1060. One of two recorded marriages with the Beaumonts in the early period. The other Philip de Caillouet with Hawisa, daughter of Robert de Beaumont, 2nd Earl of Leicester, around 1140-45. Before she married the Earl of Gloucester.
You will know about the Beaumonts.
The Cailly/Caillouet family was related to the Norman House. And appeared to be kinsmen of the Beaumonts at that time.
The Visitations of Cornwall (page 107) shows that Sir Hugh Courtenay of Haccome and Boconnoc, Kt. (died 5 Mar., 1425, Inq. p.m. 3 Hen. VI, No. 30) married 1. Elizabeth, da. of Sir William Cogan and widow of Sir Fulk Fitz-warren, 1 wife, died s.p.
2. Phillipa, da. of Sir Warren Archdekne of Haccombe. 2 wife.
3. Matilda, da. of Sir John Beaumont of Sherwell, 3 wife, she died 3 July 1467, Inq. p.m. 7 Edw. IV, No. 4.
Matilda and Hugh Courtenay had issue: 1. Sir Edward Courtenay, Kt., son & h., aged 8 at his father's death, died s.p.
2. Sir Hugh Courtenay of Boconnoc, h. to his mother, aged 40 at her death, Kt. of the Shire for Cornwall 25 and 28 Hen. VI. Killed at Tewkesbury. - married to Margaret, da. and coh. of Thomas Carminow, widow of Willm. Bottreux. Will proved 14 Nov. 1412.

Beaumont-177 and Beaumont-8 appear to represent the same person because: Maud/Matilda are interchangeable - also the father, John Beaumont died in 1342. The DoD in the 1300's probably the correct one.
