John Beazley was born August 6, 1780, and was married to Lucy Porter December 23, 1802. Lucy Beazley his wife was born September 22, 1780. [1]
Mary (Sanford) Beazley's pension application also lists the name as Beazeley.
Sanford Beasley's marriage notice and a printout for the marriage of daughter Fannie Ann spells the name with an "s" rather than a "z". Only the last name of Fannie Ann Beasley's father is listed in the marriage information, so he probably is deceased by 1866.

Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Beasley-4695 and Beazley-106 appear to represent the same person because: This John Beazley is part of a large family lineage showing consistently the Beazley spelling and referenced in a recording of a family Bible record.
Hello, Sharon. I see that you added John Beasley (Beazley) and Lucy Porter. I am proposing a duplicate merging. The common details are few, but what there is (the names and the date of marriage) suggests we are showing the same people. I am the administrator of the Beasley Surname Study and the Beasley YNDA Project. This lineage is quite large and has been tested as a common YDNA Haplotype. It is so large that most of the descendants have not been entered. I do try to connect people on WikiTree wherever they appear.
You had the "Beazley" name as AKA. We will want to leave it that way because John was part of a large lineage using that spelling. Of course, other spellings are used on records but Beazley would be the family name as known by a substantial Bible Record connected with a Revolutionary War Pension application.
William Beasley is the EKA of this lineage. The duplicates are: John Beazley and |Lucy (Porter) Beazley
