Each data extract is indexed to a reference citation in the sources section at the end of the profile. These data extractions are provided to make available a side by side comparison of the genealogical data in the cited references such that the agreements, conflicts, and reliability of the genealogical information may be immediately weighed by the reader.

Source Extracts reliability rating guide and notes:
  • A Primary Source contains data that was recorded by the person in the profile; or by someone known to or with first hand knowledge of that person, during the person's lifetime, death or within two generations thereafter.
  • A Secondary Source is a genealogical reference created as the result of a extensive study of available source material and it provides some evidence of the source documentation used to generate the text data.
  • A Tertiary Source is a genealogical data source which is a collection of genealogical information that does not cite Primary or Secondary information sources, and the data may be factual or hearsay.
  • Braces {Editorial Note Example} are used to insert editorial comments; that is to say, information or clarification that is not contained in the original, cited source material.

  2. ) Page 50 Silas Beebe (353), was born at East Haddam, Connecticut and died in Madison County, New York. He Married Elizabeth Emmons and was the father of Rhoda (556). {Editorial, this marriage link (Elizabeth Emmons) and Child (Rhoda Beebe), asserted by Clarence Beebe by as the family of Silas Beebe Jr (353) is an error. Elizabeth Emmons was the first wife of Silas Beebe Sr. (166), and from the Barbour Vital Records, Rhoda Beebe (556) was the half sister of Silas Beebe Jr.; the daughter of Silas Beebe Sr. (166) and his first wife Elizabeth Emmons. The Clifford Beebe Beebe Genealogy confirms this was an error on the part of Clarence and affirms the relationship documented in the Barbour Vital Records. [6] i.e. Rhoda is Silas Beebe Jr.'s half sister NOT his daughter.}

  • Secondary Source, Brainard, Homer Worthington, A Survey of the Ishams in England an America; Eight Hundred and Fifty Years of History and Genealogy [7] Data Extract:
  1. ) Page 138-140 Parents: Isaac Isham Jr. married three times. First to Elizabeth Brown (1724-1770) on 16 Feb 1742; second to Elizabeth Snow (1741-1776) on 19 Dec 1771, and married third, probably in Colchester, Fruin Beebe, " no date discovered". {Editorial: Given that Wealthy Isham was born 16 Apr 1784, neither Elizabeth Brown nor Elizabeth Snow could have been her mother as they were dead prior to her birth. From the text of the Brainard, Isham Genealogy, it is a logical extension that Wealthy Isham was the daughter of Fruin Beebe. However there is an undocumented assertion in the Wikitree profile of Isaac Isham Jr. that Alice Glass, was also his wife in some undocumented time period. Because the only identified and accessible data source for Wealthy Isham is the Brainard Genealogy, This Wikitree profile has elected to assign Fruin Beebe as the mother of Wealthy Isham for two reasons, first the only other known documentation for Fruin Beebe states that she was born in 1740, which would make her a biologically viable mother for Wealthy in 1784 and second, the only known source linking Fruin Beebe as the wife of Isaac Isham is the Brainard Genealogy which states she was the third wife of Isaac.}
