Informant was Mrs. J. H. Bell. She and John W. show in the 1880 census in Corsicana, Nevarro Co, TX, page 488."
Mrs. J. H. Bell is apparently Alphretta Aalters Bell (Walters-149). the wife of James Hugh Bell (Bell-970), .
Margaret L BELL(b. 1843) is the daughter of James Daniel BELL(1818-1882) She 1st married GUTTY, then EDWARDS, then moved to Corsicana TX. Her children seem to have stayed in TX. I don't have obituaries on them, but a grandson, Ray ELY died in 1918 during an influenza outbreak (Oct 24, 1918, newspaper at genealogybank; he died the preceding week.) I don't know anything about her except what I see online.
