Pierre dit Piau was born in 1706[1][2]
He married Jeanne Gaudet on 12 January 1728 in Grand-Pré. [3]
He passed away in Memramcook according to genealogist Placide Gaudet[2] but the date is unknown.
Translated: "Another line of Belliveau from the Memramcook region dates back to Pierre Belliveau dit Piau who was the youngest son of Jean Belliveau and Madeleine Melanson, baptized in Port-Royal, on August 4, 1706. Piau married, in Port-Royal, January 12, 1728, Jeanne Gaudet, daughter of Bernard Gaudet and Jeanne Thériot. This family escaped the Deportation of 1755 by taking refuge in Sissibou. Subsequently it went to Le Coude (now Moncton) and from there , at the Miramichi. Pierre Belliveau went with his family to Fort Beauséjour in 1760, from where they went to Pisiguit. Around 1767, they came to settle in Memramcook, where Pierre died. "
This could have been the only Pierre Belliveau living at that time with enough younger children to have been the Pierre Belliveau imprisoned at Fort Edward (Pisiguit) in 1762. Gaudet says he went to Pisiguit in 1760, so would have been there to be captured. If so, he would have been sent to Halifax before July 12, 1762.

My Grandmother’s Aunt was able to trace the family tree to the early 1600’s with Antoine Belliveau; however the tree only focuses on my direct line. I was hoping to complete it further.
Please contact me to see if we can be of assistance to each other at all...thank you for all the information you have already provided! My Gramma is 95 and is only JUST learning about how important her ancestors actions in Acadia were. I’d love to provide her with as much information as possible about them!
