Biography

Francois was born about 1747. Francois Benedict ... [1]

Buried - Lake Placid Synagogue Cemetery, North Elba, Essex, New York, United States

Sabael was born in 1754. He passed away in 1855. He is Antoine and Xavier. He began using both his and his brothers name after surviving "The White Devil Cannibals" He is also the "Blood Seal" of the Penobscot Vatican Covenant and Watertown Treaty; which gained him the additional name of Sabael (St Peter) Benedict, To Signify his Adoption to the Pope; since the Pope could not produce the Required Child to Seal the Covenant in the Traditional Physical Sense. This was deemed Acceptable to the Crown Council at Watertown.[2] Around 1762, Sabael was living on the shore of a small lake in the Adirondack Mountains, an area that would come to be known as Sabael; and a lake that would be called Indian Lake. He accompanied his father into battle when he was only twelve years old. Thus he was witness to the Battle of Quebec in 1759. The British force, led by Major General James Wolfe, defeated the French, who were led by the Marquis de Montcalm. While some believe Sabael's father was most likely one Captain Benedict, who hunted for Wofe's army, (Day 77) it is well Recorded in the Dartmouth Records, that he was sent to the Moore's Charity School along with his Cousins, by his Father "His Majesty" Joseph Louis Magwawidobait K'toleque Gill Orono. They departed the School in 1777 to Join their Father and Uncles in the Revolutionary War, under the auspices of Bedel [3] War Records also place him with His Father, alongside General Washington, when the Cherokee acknowledged His Majesty & General Washington as the Victor's. General Washington then Acknowledged His Majesty as the "Grand High Chief" or more accurately as the "Emperor Prince" of the Line of Emperor Prince Powhatani. General Washington requested that His Majesty go to subdue the uprising in Florida; and His Majesty agreed to send Sabael Xavier in his stead, stating that he would "Pursue Peace Through the Calumet" thereafter and he would never raise Arms Against His Brothers. After the murder of his mother and brother he often cited his brothers name as his for testimony.

At any rate,he ended up in the land the French called " The Dismal Wilderness." [Which the Abenaki Penobscot Powhatani et al called the Bloody Grounds] (Heller 20) the "Mohawk" carry a Prophecy about this Move to the Mountains [4] Sabael left his mark on a town, and did more when his Son Louis Elijah guided David Henderson and party to Iron Mountain, near present-day Newcomb. Sabael Xavier and Family had been providing Tour Guide services for their Mountain Strongholds; where Sabael Xavier had paid his Taxes to New York for these Mines (which he began making bullets, pots, pans, swords etc from) and Forests where they gathered Medicine to prepare and Sell/Trade. Mr Henderson paid Louis Elijah the Guide Price (a plug of tobacco is the usual price); and was shown where Sabael Xavier had been procuring some of his Metals. Afterward; Mr Henderson wrote to McIntyre that it would be best to have the Indian Removed, lest he cause legal complications; and they Staked Claims on the Properties of Sabael Xavier (Unlawfully). To support this, they built a Dam which Flooded the Grave of the Wife of Sabael Xavier, forming a new Lake. It is said that her Spirit is eternally trapped there in Mourning. His Treasure... His Lady of the Lake. Due to these many tragedies; Sabael Xavier never trusted Louis Elijah with the Location of any further Mines. He would often scoff in derision "I guess I sold my mines for a mere basket of corn!" Then Scowl at Louis Elijah and storm away, pretending not to understand English or French. The iron found there eventually reached a production level of fourteen tons a day.And the Adirondack Iron and Steel Company's New Jersey plant was the first in America to make steel. (Wessels) Eventually, production at this Mine slowed; due to the Titanium which made it difficult to work with. After the United States took possession of it; the exclusive focus was on the Titanium. Some say this is why the Titanic Sank; because the Titanium was Cursed due to it being Stolen Unlawfully from Sabael Xavier. Death

  • According to Eye Witness Accounts; it was at the Behest of Syracuse that Sabael Xavier was Murdered and dropped into Round Pond; by the Loggers who then started Logging and Staking Claims on the Properties of Sabael Xavier (Unlawfully) to Support the Publishing Industry of Syracuse. [5]
  • However, according to author and minister John Todd, based Solely on Hearsay after the fact (presumably promoted by the criminal Loggers and Miners) Sabael was reported as having died in 1855 near Indian lake[3]. The cause of death was claimed as a violent duel with his grandson. He would have been one hundred and eight years old at the time of his death[4]. A memorial grave was placed near where his wife was also laid to rest. His home was named as Squaw Brook and their resting place is now beneath the shores of the lake due to a dam being added nearby. Note: this version of events is not possible, because the Lake which Flooded his wife's Grave was long before the Demise of Sabael Xavier. His wife's restless spirit is the cited Cause of him moving further away from the Lake.

  • Mr. Gill - Sir. These come by your son Anthony who seems to have desire to go home and I think it best for him and for you. Yet he should go. I have faithfully done the best I could for him, and the school masters have taken much pains with him - but he dont love his books, but loves play and idleness much better. I hope you will know better than I do what to do with him and for him. I should be willing to so him and you a kindness to carry him through a course of college learning. But unless he should make better proficiency than he has done he will not get through in ten years in which time I can with the same expence educate __ who will esteem the privilege which has been offered him to be very great, as it really is. If you have another son which you desire I should make tryal of, and will send him to me, I will make a faithful tryal of his disposition and abilities, and do for him accordingly as shall appear best for him, and you shall be wellcome to my labor and expense for him as you are to what I have done for Anthony. But if you or any of your friends shall have a desire to send your sons here for an education it will be best they should be well instructed in the business of farming before they come, or else be told that they must learn it here, as they will have opportunity to do without any interruption or disadvantage to their studies at all and yet only by improving part of the vacation of the school on the farm with my labors. This will be safest and best for them for if they should not be able in future life to get their living by the business of a learned profession, and wild game should be all gone from the country, as they likely will be within a few years, your sons will be in a very unhappy state if they should not know how to get their living by farming. So we think and so all wise men here practice with their own sons unless they have a good estate to support them and so I think it would be best to do by yours. Some of your children appear to love play very much and if I would let them would do nothing else thro a whole vacation of the school for three or four weeks together and think hard if I send them into the field with my laborers to learn every branch of labor, if it be only for a few days. And I hear the sons of yours say they had not come here to work and it is best to let you know fully that yours come here to learn everything that will be every way wisest and best for you. It is but a small part of the time that is proposed for them to work in, nor more than will be best for their health and to fit them for their studies. All the vacations in a year in __ make but 9 weeks, unless they labor and study so hard that theri health requires more. Benedict did not get the English tongue so easie as some do and is not so forward in reading and writing as I could wish. Joseph and Montuit have done very well. Joseph entered college last August and bids fair to make a good schollar. Montuit will be fit to enter college as soon as he is old enough. I hope these two will be wise learned and useful men, and do much good in the world if their fathers are wise enough to let them go through their learning and not take them away to spoil them as some have done. I pray God to grant all prosperity to you and your family.
