Elcey married John Adam Levensaler on 22 June 1839 in Waldoboro, Lincoln County, Maine. Elcey and John had six children. They were: Alonzo Levensaler was born on 15 August 1841; Myron Levensaler was born on 01 May 1842; Orris Levensaler was born on 15 February 1844; Azro Levensaler was born on 10 September 1846; Susan A. Levensaler was born on 24 July 1850; and Florance Levensaler was born on 23 September 1857. All the children were born in Waldoboro, Lincoln County, Maine.
