William was born 8 February 1681 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut Colony.[1], the son of William Bennett and Susannah Bright. He married Elizabeth Chapman in Stonington 9 July 1701.[2] They had seven children. After Elizabeth's death, William married Mary Church 26 February 1719 in Stonington.[3] They had four children together. William died in Stonington about 1733.
