DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Robert or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree: It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:

Hi Robert, It looks like you may have some outstanding merges that need attention. You can find them by following the link at the top of this page under >My Wikitree>Watchlist, then hit the button that says Pending Merges. If you need help, just ask.

Thanks for helping with Wikitree

Hello Robert,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

I’m going to suggest that the US Southern Colonies might fit your current research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Please take your time. Accuracy is so much more important than speed on WikiTree. And please add locations, dates, and at least one reliable source to each profile, particularly any pre-1700s profile, before you leave it. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

 :)

Hi, Robert!

Thank you for your participation in October’s 2020 Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.

Keep up the great work!

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader

HI,

just a word (late) to congratulate you on the contributions you made during the month of November. Whatever the quantity, they are all important.

Your work is appreciated.

Thanks

Guy Constantineau

Robert, I think there may be an error in your GEDMatch ID. Does it start with an A for Ancestry? I thought it might be fun to see if we connect there.

When you find your correct ID, stop by Add -> DNA Test Information here on WikiTree to make the change.

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Welcome back Robert -

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering. Make sure to add more TAGS to follow as you grow the family tree.

Wow!!! You're the 2,337th Bentley profile on Wikitree! I bet your 'cousins' on Wikitree will benefit greatly once you add your insightful collaboration and sourced research.

Have fun and make sure to join in the Question of the Week: We've all got one - who's YOUR favorite ancestor and why? and share your ancestor!

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly group of volunteers who are glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

See you in the branches---
