To any authorized Minister of the Gospel or Authorized Magistrate thee are to License and permit you to join together in the honorable Estate of Matrimony according to the rules of the Church of which you are reputed a member Mr. John Berry and Miss Elizabeth Vertrees by consent of her Father. Hereto said John Berry having given Bond & security in my office according to law. Given under my hand as Clerk of the County Court for the County aforesaid this 12 day of July 1848
