DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
It is not possible that John Wright born 1759 in Virginia married in 1731 in Virginia, Sara Berryman, born in 1716 in Virginia and had children, Joseph Douglas born in 1735 at Charles, Maryland, Benjamin Thomas Douglas born in 1733 at Charles, Maryland, Letitia Douglas born in 1747 at Prince William, Virginia. I would usually recommend sources to support the facts, however there are no sources that could support these impossible events. Even if there is a correctible error with the dates there are other issues such as surname and location inconsistancies that make the association to John Wright questionable.
