Harry Francis Bessey was born on December 26, 1900 in Michigan, United States, son of George S. Bessey (abt. 1863–abt. 1937) and Victoria Loranger (abt. 1863– ).

Harry (24) married Alvera D Peters (20) (born January 8, 1905 in Detroit, Wayne; daughter of Wilfred Alfred Peters (1882–1946) and Regina Ann (Kramer) Peters (1883–1954)) on September 2, 1925 in Detroit, Wayne.[1]
