Thomas Beyer was born in 1713 in the Rhineland-Palatinate (today: Rhineland-Pfalz) region of western Germany. His parents were Johann Andreas Beyer, b: Dec 1681 in Gommersheim, Sudliche Weinstrasse, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, and his wife, Anne Appolonia (Hederich) Beyer, b: 1677 in Framersheim, Alzey-Worms, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. [1]
The Beyer family emigrated from Germany to America in 1738 but Thomas Beyer did not accompany them. It is assumed that the most-likely cause is that he had died before 1738. No listings have been found for him with a wife or children.[2]
