Biography

Robert was born in 1910.[1][2]

He was named Deputy Prosecutor (Substituut van de Prokureur des Koning) in the Antwerp's Court of Justice in 1937.[3][4]

During the second world war, he was active in resistance movements against the Nazi occupation of Belgium.[4] He was arrested between the 27th and 30th of August 1944 and sent to the concentration camp of Neuengamme, in Germany, where he was prisoner nr. 44927.[4][5] There, he passed away on 7 April 1945.[4][2][5]

He was married to Suzanne Sestier-Civet[6], and had one young child.[4]
