Charles was born in 1853. He was the son of Jotham Bigelow and Mary Bunker.
He married Belle M. Moore (1861–1924). They had a son:
Webster Pattle Bigelow 1891–1935
He passed away in 1928. Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine. Plot: 827ED.
