Biography

William was born in 1832, son of Peter Binkele and Tabitha Morris. He passed away in 1865 and was buried in Blue Spring Cemetery in Cheatham County, Tennessee.[1]

William married Hulda Morris on 14 Apr 1848 in Davidson County, Tennessee. [2]

Based on Find-A-Grave 86574415 for William, his DOB is 03/24/1832, (which differs from other reports), DOD is 03/20/1865. His burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery in Cheatham county, TN.


It is still uncertain if this William Binkley is the William who served in the Civil War, but given his age it is probable. He died in 1865, also indicating possible death in the war or aftermath. Service records for William Binkley indicate: [4]
