Charlotte Emilia Bishop was born on 19 August 1832 and baptised on 20 September at Saint Pancras, London. She was the daughter of John Bishop and Harriet Araminta Ingpen.[1] Charlotte was named after her Mother's sister Charlotte Emilia Ingpen

Census, 1841 - Howland St

In the 1841 Census, Charlotte Bishop was recorded as being 7 years. Occupants at the house on Howland Street, St Pancras were Harriet Bishop Sr, Elder sister Emily and Harriet, presumably her brother [Paul] John Bishop.[2]

Census, 1851 - Howland St

18-year-old Charlotte was living in Howland St, Saint Pancras. The third of four daughters of the John Bishop, the head of the house.[3]

Census, 1861 - Gower St, St Giles, London

(28yrs). Charlotte was recorded as being 24 yrs old, although she would have been 28 by this time. She remained unmarried and along with four of her other sisters, it appeared that they resided with their parents. All of them indicated as being daughters of John Bishop, Married to his wife Harriet also present, and the Head of Household. Rhoda - widowed, 41; Emily - widowed, 37; Katherine,30, Harriet, 28 and Charlotte. Katherine, Harriet and Charlotte were spinsters. [4]

1891 Census - Bolton Road, Hampstead

Charlotte was 58-years-old and a Teacher of Music. Her sister Harriett was named as the head of the household at Bolton Road, Hampstead. Their elder sister Rhoda also lived with them there. [6]

Charlotte passed away in the June quarter of 1893 at Paddington, London. She was 58 years of age. [7] Buried on 25 Apr 1893 at Kensington and Chelsea.
