James Jacob Bishop, a 2-year-old child, of Magee died March 3, 2005, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 49 in Magee.

Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of Tutor Funeral Home in Magee on March 5, with burial in Womack Cemetery, Magee.

He is survived by his mother, Melanie Bishop of Magee; father, Shawn Summerlin of Magee; maternal grandparents, Cathie Ferrell and Melvin and Lisa Bishop, all of Magee; maternal great-grandparents, James Webb Bishop and wife Rose of Mendenhall and Nell Warren Varnes of Magee; paternal grandparents, Lisa Summerlin and Danny Gilmore of Pearl.^[2]
