Richard was born in 1760 in Rippon Lodge, Prince William, VA. He was the son of Thomas Blackburn and Christian (Scott) Blackburn.[1]
In August 1777 Richard (age about 17) was living in USA.[1]
Richard served in the military in August 1777 in Virginia, United States.
When Richard was about 21 he married Judith BEEL in about 1781 in Prince William, VA. The couple had 4 children: Jane Charlotte Blackburn, Anna Maria Thomasina Blackburn, Christiana Scott Blackburn and Judith Ball Blackburn.
When Richard was about 36 he married Ann BLAUSE after 1796 in Manassas Magisterial District, Prince William, VA, USA.
Richard died at the age of about 44 in 1804 in Rippon Lodge, Prince William, VA, USA.
