Nathaniel, Jr. the oldest son, settled on some land at the extreme north part of the town, now owned by Barton C. Aldrich. His wife was a DeBell of Boston, Mass. He is remembered as a famous fiddler of by gone days.
Submit, m. Theron Adams. (See Adams.) Nancy, m. Hiram Hall and had several ch. The foregoing children of William Blanchard all died of consumption, inherited from the Burt family. William B. m. again and had 5 children-two daughters. He died in this town in about 1855. .
Heber, the 2d son of Nath'l went to northern Vt.. Willard, an odd character, d. in Chesterfield, N.H. Nath'l jr., a famous clarionett player, d. in Washington D. C, when there with a circus.

Note N162He settled in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, and according to the census was living there in 1790, having seven in his family. He married De Bell, of Boston. He was a "famous iiddler." He was a soldier in the Revolution, from New Hampshire, in Captain William Humphrey's company, according to a pay roll dated in 1776 (New Hampshire Papers, vol. I, p. 355).
