He was born about 1735 in in Chesterfield County, Virginia and was the son of Elizabeth (Hudson, 1704–1789) and John Buckley Blankenship (1695–1754).

Hudson Blankenship married about 1755 in Virginia to Edith Wilkinson.

He passed away on 18 Dec 1812 in Campbell County, Virginia, USA and was buried at Blankenship-Oldham in Winfall, Campbell County, Virginia, USA. [1]

Not trying to be picky, but Chesterfield Co VA did not exist in 1735. It was formed from Henrico Co in 1749.

Added his 1776 sticker, DAR society sticker and the link to the DAR as source. I also adjusted birth yr to 1737 as given in the DAR and Find a Grave.

Blankinship-164 and Blankenship-892 appear to represent the same person because: dups with same son Henry. Final surname should match BlankEnship father.
