Witnesses to the will were William Adams and John Perry. Burwell S. Tanner, S.S. Calhoun. His mark, David Sheeks. Inventory dated 2 October 1837 by John Parr and W.S.S. Harris, Executors. George DAVID Sheeks married Eliazbeth Howard 18 January 1790 at Surry County, North Carolina. FHL Microfilm 0,546,473. Marriage Bond 000147293. Martin Bridgefarmer, bondsman. Surry, N.C. The Sheeks had moved to Cumberland County, Kentucky by 15 August 1800. Later moving to Obion County, Tennessee by the 1830 census the Western District or Territory of the State of Tennessee George DAVID and Elizabeth Howard Sheeks children are as follows: Benjamin Sheeks. Rosannah Sheeks Fips Green. Polly Sheeks Dabney. Jesse Sheeks. *Elizabeth Sheeks Blankenship. Cornelius Sheeks. Susan Sheeks Meadows.
