MANDURAMA
(Our Own Correspondent.)
On Tuesday 23rd inst. a marriage was celebrated in the Wesleyan Church, the contracting parties being Mr. George Blazley of Lowfield, Carcoar, and Miss Matilda MacCloskey of the Lyndhurst Hotel, Lyndhurst. The Rev. J. Goudie performed the ceremony.
The church which was beautifully decorated, was crowded with onlookers, and a number were gathered outside. After the ceremony the Bridal Party was driven to the residence of the bride's father, where a sumptuous breakfast was served. Numerous speeches were given and the health of the newly married couple heartily drunk. Later they drove to the Railway Station and left by the mail train for Sydney, where they will spend their honeymoon. The usual showers of rice and hearty cheers followed them.
BLAZLEY. — In memory of my devoted father and friend, George Blazley, who departed this life on the 26th August, 1941. Inserted by his son, Hilton Blazley.
