Biography
John Blickenstaff married 1790 Hannah Ulrich, probably in Bedford Co PA; they had nine children:

- Susannah Blickenstaff
- Catherine Blickenstaff
- Emanuel Blickenstaff
- Esther Blickenstaff
John and Hannah "inherited 81 acres ... in Frankstown Twp, Bedford Co PA through her [parents] Daniel & Christina Ulrich Sr's estate ... The deed was issued 31 Dec 1795 by Daniel Olery Jr, who was the executor of his father's estate. ... This they sold 6 Jun 1805, moving to Indiana Co PA where John passed his remaining days." (Honeyman & McDaniel 1998, p 67)
John died about 1816 in Montgomery Co, OH per Family Search, but died in Indiana Co PA per Honeyman. He left Hannah with seven young children to raise by herself. John's burnial has not been located.
