We have a copy of the Yearbook published by the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grade classes of the Knapp State Graded School, published during the 1948-1949 School year. Near the front of the book is a page dedicating the book to Henry Blumer, with his picture and this message:
"To Henry Blumer,
We the students and faculty of the Knapp Graded School do affectionately dedicate this, our second edition of the Knapp Site, to our beloved school board member "Henry Blumer," who has served this school diligently for the last twenty-six years.
We know his work has not been easy and he has won our respect and friendship through his willingness and readiness to help us whenever necessary.".
Among the advertisements at the back of the book, we find: Blumer's Store: Dry Goods-Shoes-Hardware-Groceries We appreciate your trade Henry Blumer, Knapp, Wisconsin.
