4th Baronet Blunden, of Blunden Castle, doctor, of Temuka, New Zealand.
He went to Trinity College, Dublin, where he took his degree in Arts.
He went to New Zealand.
In 1879 at Te Henui Church, New Plymouth, Taranaki, he married Florence Caroline Shuttleworth, daughter of Henry Shuttleworth, of New Plymouth, with issue two sons and one daughter.
In 1890 he succeeded his father as 4th Baronet Blunden. Later, with his wife and three children the family returned to Ireland.
In 1904 he was High Sheriff of Kilkenny.
He died on 25 October 1923, aged 83.
He was succeeded by his son John Blunden, 5th Baronet, who died three days after him.
