Biography

Vincent Boagni, son of Edward Boagni and Alice Dietleu, was born on 17 Jan. 1898, his birth was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, Louisiana, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

He appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 in the home of his parents at Opelousas, Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana.^[2]

He married Gladys May Pitre, daughter of Edward and Angelina Pitre about 1926.^[3]

He was a farmer and Gladys appeared on the census of 3 May 1940 at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Gladys' parents were living with them.^[4]

Vincent died on 8 Jan. 1952 at Opelousas^[3] and was buried at, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has a photo of his burial vault, some biographical material and links to those of family members.^[5]
