Biography
When Sarah Bodkin was born on August 9, 1825, in Tennessee, her father, William, was 34, and her mother, Catherine, was 25. She married Ivory Finley Hamby Esquire on September 11, 1842, in Campbell, Tennessee. They had nine children in 25 years. She died on December 31, 1883, in Morgan, Tennessee, at the age of 58, and was buried there.
