Biography

Sarah (Bolling) Tazewell is a descendant of Pocahontas. Here is the trail.

"To daughter Sarah Bolling so much money as will make her legacy from the same person amount to 500 (english pounds). The slaves given to his wife are after her death to be euqlly divided between his sons." "Reduces legacies to daughters Anne and Sarah to 400 (english pounds) each"^[1]

" Married John Tazewell,of Williamsburg.He was Judge of General Court of Virginia ^[2]

Three children:

1. Elizabeth, who married Dr. Samuel Griffin, who was a member of Congress from 1789-1795
2. Littleton Tazewell, who married Catherine Neveron
3. William Tazewell,d. 1840,a doctor who married Mary Page Tanner.
