Dorothea Bonaventure is the daughter of Jean and Marie Anne (Chauvin) Bonaventure. She was born about 1797 in Louisiana, according to the 1850 Census, which spelled her name with an accented e at the end instead of ea. She married Louis Eppinette in 1814.[1]
Living with Louis and Derothé Epinett (both 53, born in Louisiana) at the time of the 1850 Census:[2]
She died about 1880 where she was born - Ouachita Parish.[3]
