Biography

Dorothea Bonaventure is the daughter of Jean and Marie Anne (Chauvin) Bonaventure. She was born about 1797 in Louisiana, according to the 1850 Census, which spelled her name with an accented e at the end instead of ea. She married Louis Eppinette in 1814.^[1]
