Harman Bond Sr. married Martha Ann Gray in 1829. The had 5 children:

  • Benjamin Bond 1830 PA – 1913 PA, married Margaret Coulter [1832-1909]
  • Sarah Jane Bond 1839 PA - 1917 PA married William Rodgers
  • Harmon G Bond Jr. 1845 PA - 1920 PA married Sarah [unkn]
  • Samuel Darlington Bond 1848 PA – abt 1857 died young
  • H. Charles Bond 1855 PA - bef 1880

Benjamin, his wife Margaret, and Samuel Darlington Bond are all buried in St. Paul's Epsicopal Church Cemetery

Death: Harman Bond On Friday, November 19th, in East Whiteland township, Harman Bond Sr.
Death of an Aged Citizen. Harmon Bond Sr., died on Friday in West Whiteland township, at the advanced age of 80 years. He had been ailing for some time, but the immediate cause of his death was from dropsy. His interment will take place on Wednesday next, notice of which is published in another column.

Funeral on Wednesday, November 24th, from the residence of his son Benjamin J. Bond, East Whiteland township; leave the house at 11 o’clock a.m. Interment at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, West Whiteland township. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

Burial: St. Pauls’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Exton, Chester Co., PA
