Biography

Goldie was born May 28th 1910 in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. She married Ealr Sypolt in late 1927or early 1928. Their application for a marriage license was published in the Daily Mail December 27th 1927. They had four children.

Goldie died November 3rd 1971, at the age of 61

Obituary:

Mrs. Goldie E. Sypolt, 61, of 135 Randolph Ave., died early Wednesday morning at Western Maryland State Hospital following a long illness.

She was born in Harpers Ferry W. Va., the daughter of Herman Luther and Bertha Lay Bond.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and the widow of Earl Franklin Sypolt.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruby M. Ambrose of Jacksonville Fla., Mrs. Nancy L. Ganoe of Marlboro, Mass.; one son, Charles Sypolt, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Kagle of Washington, and Mrs. T. Arbutus Wiles of Big Springs; two brothers, Floyd Bond and T. Herman Bond, both of Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. G. Bartow Harris officiating. Burial will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
