Biography

Anna was born about 1898, married Anthony Pastore about 1913 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

While living in Maryland Tony worked at a paper mill with Albert Bond, soon to be his father in law. In 1930 he was a helper in a coal yard and 1940 a laborer in a lumber yard. Anthony was born November 21st 1890 in Italy. They had ten children.

Obiturary: Mrs. Anna Pastore
PASTORE, Mrs. Anna, 78, High Point, Tuesday (Sept. 14,1976). A native of Virginia, she came here 2 ½ years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a Catholic. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Mary Piciullo, and Mrs. Cecelia Lubeck, both of High Point, Mrs. Rose Turro, Mrs. Pauline Digivione, Mrs. Antoinette Rullo, all of Long Island; four sons, Vito and William, both of High Point, Albert and Charles, both of Long Island. Service and burial will be in Long Island. Turner Home for Funerals, Brookville.

Note

According to the 1930 census Anna was 15 when she married Tony. He was 24. That would put their marriage between 1912 and 1915, depending on which birth date is correct. Anna was not on Albert’s 1900 census.
