Josiah Boone was born to Josiah Boone, Sr. and Hannah Henton in 1758 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He passed away about 1823.
Josiah served during the American Revolution as a soldier in the Lincoln Co, Virginia, Militia, under Capt Samuel Kirkham.[1]
There is a lot of conflicting information on both Josiah and his father. For one thing, it appears that they married women with the same name. Per research done, the following information seems to be the best presented[2][3]
