DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Catherine by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Catherine:
For some reason, "Roseanna" was added as a middle name for my 5th great-grandmother, Catherine Boone. However, when I do research based upon that complete name of Catherine Roseanna Boone, I come up with Catherine Roseanna Boone. born 1738, died 1814, Lincoln County, NC, who married Johann Martin Coulter. And, on U.S., Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications, 1889-1970, I find this:
Name
Catherine Rosanna Boone
Death Date
1814
SAR Membership
47224
Role
Ancestor
Application Date
17 Apr 1931
Spouse
Martin Coulter
Children
Catherine Coulter
Household Members
Name
Age
Herbert Meloy Smith
Harriet Lowrance
John M Smith
Margaret Ray
Joseph Lowrance
Catherine Coulter
Isaac Lowrance
Catherine Rosanna Boone
Martin Coulter Sr
Could there have possibly been two Catherine Rosanna Boones? I wonder whether someone mistakenly added the middle name to mine, when it really was the one who married Coulter?
