- Ambroise Bourg is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 12 Left, La Ville d'Arcangel. Listed with Ambroise is his wife Marie Modeste Moulaison and nine of their children: Marie Victoire, Modeste Aimee, Magdelaine, Julie Therese, Isabelle, Joseph, Pelagie, Modeste and Ambroise.[1]
Joseph-Faustin BOURG, son of Ambroise BOURG & Marie-Modeste MOLAISON, born 3 Mar 1777 and baptized the same day at Pleurtuit, Bretagne (today Ille-et-Vilaine), France. Sponsors: Francois-Xavier BOURG & Marie-Victoire BOURG [his uncle and sister, age 12, probably; he has a 1st cousin named the same born nearly 4 years earlier].[2]
