Biography
Elisha W. Bowman was born around 1811. He was the son of Cornelius Bowman Jr. and Elizabeth Moore. He married Mary Phillips. Elisha W. Bowman was a private, Co. E, 14th Ky Cav. He died of disease at a military hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1911.
Union Civil War Soldier. He was the son of Cornelius Bowman Jr. and Elizabeth Moore Bowman. He resided in Booneville, Kentucky before the war began. During the Civil War he volunteered to serve in the Union Army and enlisted with the 14th Kentucky Cavalry. He was mustered into Company E as a Private. Bowman died while in the service from debilities at a military hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
