Biography

Elizabeth (Boyd) Boyd Countess of Angus was born in Scotland.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert Boyd.^[1][2][3] and Mariota (Maxwell) Boyd.^[4]

She married Archibald Douglas with whom she had four sons and three daughters:^[1]

2. Sir William of Glenbervie, d. 9 Sep 1513
3. Gavin, Bishop of Dunkfield b. c 1474, d. Sep 1522
4. Archibald of Kilspindie, a.k.a. Graysteel, Treasurer of Scotland d. c 1535
5. Marion, m. Cuthbert Cunningham, Lord Kilmaurs on 24 Jun 1492, d. a Jul 1511
6. Elizaabeth, m Robert Lyle on 19 Jun 1493.
7. Janet, m. Andrew Herries on 25 Nov 1495, d. b 25 Feb 1500

Elizabeth died before 1498.^[1]
