DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

William was likely born much earlier as he appears on the 1763 Tax List for Nottoway Parish in Amelia County, Virginia. (See: http://www.arslanmb.org/bradshaw/Descendants-1.pdf) While this genealogy that was published in 2018 does not speculate as to the birth of William, they do mention this earlier tax record as a source. (The number shown under birth corresponds to the source list toward the back of the book).

I believe that based on the year of birth here there are issues with his children as a result since it appears he is fathering children at the age of 11. I hope this new book can help shed some light on where to look for sources to get a more accurate date. There are merges among his children that need to be cleaned up.

I think the birth date here is fairly accurate. His own father was born in 1721. However, I also think some of these children are not his children as they were born while he was too young and unmarried.
Yes, this profile needs to be cleaned up and possibly separated out. If you look at the first merge, his parents were changed. With such a common name there are likely many inaccuracies. I'll try to come back and source on this when I have a bit more time.
Thank you Michelle. I was interested in this profile because of his daughter Phoebe who married an Adkins. I have not yet researched Bradshaws so my knowledge here is very small. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
Bradshaw-3425 and Bradshaw-19 appear to represent the same person because: They appear to either be the same person or their information is conflated. Lack of sourcing may have contributed to this. William, as well as his wife, come up on the Data Doctors suggestion list as duplicates. If a merge is rejected, then apply sources to the profile to distinguish they are two separate people.
Bradshaw-19 and Bradshaw-2338 appear to represent the same person because: Before his marriage to Susannah, William Bradshaw fathered a child with Margaret Unknown. Many family records indicate this child (Elizabeth Bradshaw) was a part of the Bradshaw family. She and two of her half brothers settled in Greenbriar County. Their children later migrated to Putnam County, Missouri.
