Dr. Paul Wilson Brand was a world renowned orthopedic surgeon who pioneered in reconstructive surgery to correct deformities in the hands and feet of leprosy patients [1]
He was born July 23, 1914 in Tamil Nadu, India, the son of medical missionaries Jesse and "Granny" Evelyn Brand.[2]
