David Brethauer
ALBANY -- David Brethauer, 38, of Albany, died Monday at an Albany Hospital following a stroke.
He was born in Greeley, Colo., and moved to Albany in 1946 after Navy service in World War II. He worked for Simpson Plywood Co. for 14 years and for the past five years was a quality control supervisor for American Plywood Assocation.
Survivors include his widow, Margie Brethauer; two daughters, Cheryl Rene and Marsha Mae Brethauer, Albany; father Jacob Brethauer, New Plymouth, Idaho; sisters, Lola Rutt, Denver, Colo., Betty Marr, Albany, Rachel Pedigo of Rufus, Dolly Brewer, Prineville, and Edythe Nelson, Ogden, Utah; brothers Jake of Denver, John and Joseph of Ft. Lupton, Colo. and Ben of Yuba City, Calif.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, under the direction of AAsum Funeral Home, with interment at Willamette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
